SCOPE

The SCRHCC will serve the citizens of Bedford, Coffee, Giles, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Moore, Perry and Wayne Counties.

The scope of work for the SCRHCC will include planning, training and exercise activities that meet the requirements specified to receive grant funding as well as activities dictated by after action improvement planning for actual events and any other gap analysis identified areas of emergency response improvement. The SCRHCC will function within the existing emergency operations plans of its partner entities which include the following specific partners:

HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS

Representation from Region 6 EMS, Air Medical Services, and Medical Communications Center.

ADVISORS AND CONSULTANTS TO THE COALITION

Representation from Long Term Care Facilities, Health Centers, Behavioral Health Services and Organizations, Home Health Agencies, Hospice, Community Emergency Response Teams and Medical Reserve Corps, Dialysis Centers, Outpatient Health Care Delivery Centers, among others.

SCRHCC has representation from the Tennessee Department of Health with the following designations serving in advisory capacity within the SCRHCC; South Central Region Healthcare Coordinator, South Central Region Emergency Medical Services Consultant and the South Central Region Emergency Response Coordinator.

Representation from County Emergency Management Agencies and City and County Fire and Rescue Agencies in South Central Region.

OUR PARTNERS

Mission Statement:

The South Central Region Healthcare Coalition (SCRHCC) is a multi-agency coordinating group that primarily assists the hospital/healthcare community and other emergency response agencies to jointly prepare for, respond to, and recover from disaster events.  The SCRHCC supports collaborative planning and information sharing among a broad range of hospital/healthcare partners and emergency response agencies in order to protect, promote, and improve the health and well-being of people in Tennessee.
