The South Central Region Healthcare Coalition, Inc. (SCRHCC) is a network of health care organizations, providers and community partners that are committed to strengthening the health care system for emergencies. The central purpose of the SCRHCC is to develop a coordinated and effective medical and public health system response to any and all hazards that might occur in our coalition area.
Effective communcation systems and resources deployment protocols
Strategic acquisition and management of resources for the region and its partners
Building collaborative strategies and responses in the area of emergency response which include: prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery
Partnership and participation in the SCRHCC is open to all health care providers and partner organizations within the SCRHCC boundaries who agree to work collaboratively and coordinate emergency prevention mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery activities. Working as one cohesive unit, the SCRHCC can support jurisdictions in mitigating the potential effects of a disaster or an emergency. The SCRHCC is not intended to replace the day-to-day operations of any of the individual organizations and should be utilized to support, but not supplant preparedness efforts. The SCRHCC will work together to develop and enhance emergency preparedness efforts to benefit the entire community as a whole, not just coalition partners.
